WHY GO GLUTEN FREE?

Although the official number of gluten intolerance is around 6%, We are convinced that 100% of the population is affected. We strongly believe that this is due to the hybridization and genetic modification of wheat and some of the other gluten containing grains. GMO foods cause a significant reaction in our bodies. The symptoms of gluten sensitivity can range from gastrointestinal issues, fatigue, foggy thinking, weight loss, weight gain, infertility, depression, etc. etc.

We always encourage our patients to educate themselves about how to become gluten free and then implement a gluten free month. WHAT ARE SUPERFOODS?

By now everybody has heard of this “new” category of foods. But what exactly is a SuperFood?

Here is a good definition: SuperFood is a term used to describe a variety of different fruits, vegetables, nuts, fish, grains, and oils.What they all have in common is that they are rich in certain nutrients that are very beneficial and necessary to our physical and mental well-being and these nutrients can be hard to find anywhere else.If you are working on improving your diet then you’ll want more than just SuperFoods, you’ll also need them to be organic, especially in regards to the fruits and vegetables because when they are not organically grown, they lose much of what makes them so rich with nutrients for our health in the first place. The pesticides and chemicals used on mass market produce tend to drag down the nutritional makeup of the food as well as add harmful chemical toxins.
