Mona Khalil is a Licensed Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine. She realized she wanted to become an Acupuncture Physician after working as a Pharmacy Technician for a year and saw first-hand the amount of medications patients were being prescribed. She knew there had to be a better way to help people without harsh drugs and their often serious side effects. Mona decided against attending pharmacy school and instead embarked on the educational path to become an Acupuncture Physician. She graduated in 2009 at the top of her class from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine. Mona worked for years alongside her husband, a Physical Therapist and gained a deep understanding of structural alignment, recovery from physical trauma and both acute and chronic pain with manual therapy techniques.
Today she mainly specializes in the treatment of pain, stress, and woman’s health and fertility. She incorporates Acupuncture, Manual Therapy, Cupping, and Chinese Herbs. Dr. Mona also specialized in Nutritional Detox Therapy, Weight Loss, Vitamin and Homeopathic injections.
